Celebrities often live their lives out in the public eye but it doesn’t mean they want the same exposure for their kids. Many famous parents try to shield their children away for the prying paparazzi and even go as far as keeping their little one’s faces hidden on social media too.

The Taiwanese superstar recently posted a rare photo of his whole family together to celebrate their son’s 2nd birthday. However, like all the other photos of his children, Romeo and Hathaway’s faces were obscured by large sunglasses.
The Singapore actress has two children with fellow actor Qi Yuwu. While she posts photos of them fairly regularly on Instagram their faces are almost always turned away or partially obscured.
The actresses’ son, Silas, with pop crooner Justin Timberlake, was born in 2015 but we’ve yet to see his adorable face. Jessica does post photos of him from time to time on social media but usually with his back turned away from the camera.
Considering she’s openly shared her struggles with mental health and keeping her marriage to actor Dax Shepard on track, we’re surprised Kristen hasn’t been as forthcoming when it comes to her kids. The couple even paved the way for many media outlets to adopt a No Kids Policy and avoid publishing photos of minors taken without their parents’ consent.
While Halle does occasionally post photos of her and her children, Nahla and Maceo, you will see them facing towards the sunset or ducking behind a doorway. When an Instagram user implied that Halle was ashamed of her children, she fired back saying she works very hard to keep their identities as private as she can considering that they’re only children.
Another celeb who avoids sharing photos of her children’s faces, but do post other pics of them, include Jenna Dewan. She is divorced from her former Step Up co-star Channing Tatum. The couple has one daughter together named Everly.
K-pop star, Rain, and his gorgeous wife, actress Kim Tae Hee, have one child together and another on the way! But other than a low-key announcement that they have indeed welcomed a baby together in 2017, we’ve neither heard or seen any proof of the baby since. Maybe they’ll feel more relaxed when baby #2 arrives and share more photos of the happy brood.
That 70s Show actor, Ashton Kutcher and his wife, Mila Kunis, also keep their little bub, Wyatt, out of the limelight. “Why is it so hard for publications to respect that I would like the identity of my child kept private for safety reasons? Pls honour that,” tweeted the actor after pictures of their daughter were published without permission.
