The top ‘hotspot’ for dating hopefuls to cross paths and gain opportunities to date has been revealed as the residential area of Bedok and neighbouring district Katong – with 10 percent of all crossings on the app taking place in the Eastern heartland.

Coming in at #2 is Singapore’s hottest new area for bars and restaurants, Telok Ayer, and its surrounding streets on the outskirts of the Central Business District. Telok Ayer scored 9%per cent of the dating app’s total amount of crossings, giving more than 160,000 opportunities for dates.

Looks like Orchard Road isn’t just a shopping hotspot anymore. It’s also where singles can seek out their next mate! The island’s prime shopping district, achieved 8 per cent of the total amount of crossings, or dating opportunities.

Love is on the rise at Raffles Place, the heart of Singapore’s financial and business centre. It equalled Orchard in dating opportunities there, by also taking in 8 per cent of the app’s total amount of crossings.

Punggol may be a relatively new estate but that also means there’s still a lot of untapped potential in finding Mister or Miss Right! The North-East district scored 6 per cent of happn’s total crossings.

Residential estate, Woodlands, also pulled in a record number of dating opportunities (5 per cent). Not surprising, perhaps, considering a significant population of Singaporeans living in the area.

Changi Airport is placed at #7 spot, with users crossing 84,862 times due to the constant traffic with locals and travelers passing through Singapore.

If you’re looking for a lesson in love, then Clementi is the place to be! Residents here, too, made up about 5 per cent of all crossings and dating opportunities on happn.

Four per cent of all crossings picked up by happn’s real-time geolocation took place in Ang Mo Kio, meaning finding love in this neighbourhood is a pretty safe bet!

Thanks to its vibrant restaurants and happening bar scene, Holland Village rounds out the top ten dating hotspots in Singapore on happn. The app recorded 3 per cent of serendipitous meetings occurred in this neighbourhood.
