Chinese New Year is just weeks away on Feb 17, 2026, and if you’re already looking to make reservations for your CNY reunion dinner, now's the time. Whether you're a traditionalist or prefer inventive takes on classic delights, here's where to book a spot.
Shang Palace and Reunion Gala Dinner at Island Ballroom, Shangri-La Singapore
Shangri-La Singapore’s Shang Palace is marking the start of the Year of the Fire Horse with six resplendent eight-course menus as well as a la carte New Year dishes curated by executive Chinese chef Daniel Cheung. A vegetarian menu is available, too.
Eat your way through delectable treats running from Buddha Jumps Over the Wall to Braised South African Candy Heart Dried Abalone, Sauteed Lobster, Braised Bird’s Nest Broth with Conpoy, and Steamed Coral Trout. Of course, there’s the Fortune Yu Sheng, with Norwegian smoked salmon and poached lobster to kick things off. A vegetarian seven-course Joyous menu ($138++ per person) is also available.
And on Feb 16 itself, you can enjoy your reunion dinner with the live streaming of CCTV’s Spring Festival Gala at the hotel’s resplendent Island Ballroom. From 6.30pm, savour a celebratory eight-course menu with delicacies including Fortune Yu Sheng with Norwegian Smoked Salmon, Braised Bird’s Nest Broth, Braised Whole Abalone, and more, priced at $198++ per guest, inclusive of unlimited soft drinks and Chinese tea. That’s not all — each table will receive a complimentary South African Abalone to take home.
This is accompanied by captivating live performances, including Chinese instrumental music and a Mask- Changing act. Little ones can make a beeline for the dedicated kids’ corner offering craft activities to keep them entertained.

The Black Pearl
For a reunion dinner that’ll impress the folks, The Black Pearl offers a rooftop setting with sweeping views, paired with standout dishes by executive chef Dee Chan, who delivers a contemporary take on Yue cuisine.
Take your pick from three curated menus, with highlights like Chef’s Signature Braised Boston Lobster Rice, with rice grains packed with oceanic flavours, and Black Truffle Crispy Roasted Duck (pre-order in advance) done Beijing-style with a twist. You can also look forward to familiar favourites like the Iridescent Prosperity Yu Sheng — a fruit-forward mix with baby abalone and smoked salmon — and Braised South African Abalone with Homemade Tofu.
There’ll also be a limited-time Chinese New Year a la carte selection, including the Prosperity 10 Head Abalone Treasure Pot ($588 for 10 persons) with over 10 ingredients, alongside other festive favourites such as Fatt Choy Lotus Root Pig’s Trotter Soup, and Braised Dried Oyster stuffed in Beancurd Pouch with Broccoli.

Soup Restaurant (Early bird discount available!)
Look out for new offerings just for the festive season at Soup Restaurant, like the Fresh Fish Maw with Collagen Chicken Soup (available with the Prosperity set, from $138++ for two persons) that’s freshly simmered daily for over two hours, and Braised Abalone Seafood Pot with Dried Oysters (available with the Abundance set, from $198++ for two persons). This brims with 10-head abalone and 11 other premium ingredients such as prawns, sea cucumber, dried oysters, fish maw, and roast pork in an abalone and dried oyster broth. For something sweet, end your meal with the handmade Orange Peel Red Bean Paste with Taro Balls, a symbol of family unity.
Of course, the restaurant’s beloved Signature Samsui Chicken Ginger Chicken can’t be missed, and will be part of all dine-in sets. For yu sheng, toss to a great new year with the Crispy Yam and Longan Yu Sheng, with a choice of abalone or salmon, drizzled with a homemade citrus sauce.

Ban Lan
Ban Lan landed on our shores last year, and if the fam is all about authentic Fujian fare, then this restaurant is where to make a booking. The first overseas outpost is one of Suzhou’s most acclaimed Fujian restaurants and a Michelin Selected establishment, and has a range of seven-course CNY menus, priced from $599 for four persons.
Dive into Fujian-style dishes like the Steamed Mindong Yellow Croaker with citrusy and spicy Yong’an Yellow Chilli, as well as Ban Lan’s popular Tie Guan Yin-smoked Crispy Sesame Chicken that’s prepped for 13 hours to achieve a crackling skin, and juicy meat marinated with a blend of spices and Tie Guanyin tea. A Chinese New Year exclusive, you’ll want to try the Ban Lan Fortune Broth-Soaked Rice, with crispy rice in a slow-stewed rich seafood broth.
Of course, there are also the festive classics of yusheng and pen cai. Ban Lan’s take on the traditional salad comes with Fujian-style ingredients, such as hand-shreded taro, first-harvest seaweed and air-dried persimmon. And for its Fortune & Longevity Pen Cai, think ingredients like abalone, spiny sea cucumber, live black tiger prawns and slices of the restaurant’s signature roasted chicken.

Zui Teochew Cuisine
If Teochew fare is your family’s jam, look no further than Chui Huay Lim Teochew Cuisine and Zui Yu Xuan Teochew Cuisine under the Zui Teochew Cuisine brand.
On the eve of Chinese New Year Eve (Feb 16, 2026), look forward to six- and eight-course CNY reunion sets, priced from $398++ for four persons to $1,688++ for 10 persons.
For celebrations between Feb 2 to Mar 8, 2026 (excluding Feb 16), there are Lunar New Year Festive Feasts (from $308++ for four persons to $1,688++ for 10 persons). Highlights include the Teochew Classic Platter and, depending on the set you choose, items like Braised 5-Head Abalones with Fish Maw, Shiitake Mushroom and Spinach in Abalone Sauce, Long Hu Garoupa Steamed with Soya Sauce and Eefu Noodles.
Both restaurants offer the Teochew Prosperity Yu Sheng with a tangy mix of starfruit, coriander, sliced garlic, preserved radish, and basil leaves alongside green coral lettuce.

Take your celebrations to Raffles Hotel’s Yì by Jereme Leung, for luxurious seasonal specialties across various set menus. Treat the fam to the likes of Double-boiled Spiky Sea Cucumber Soup with Wild Termite Fungus, Sea Whelk & Hokkaido Conpoy, a crystal-clear consommé symbolising longevity and prosperity, alongside indulgent seafood like Steamed Spotted Garoupa, Bamboo Shoot & Matsutake Mushroom with Premium Soy Sauce.

Three auspicious dine-in set menus anchor Dian Xiao Er’s Chinese New Year celebrations this year, crafted to cater to both smaller parties and larger celebrations. Alongside Dian Xiao Er’s Signature Herbal Roast Duck and the returning Prosperity Smoked Salmon Yu Sheng, look out for new festive creations in the set menus, including Golden Tangerine Bliss Pork Ribs with tender ribs with fragrant tangerine peel, Fortune Prawns in Mint Fragrance, Bountiful Golden Prawns with Corn, and Prosperity Fish Maw with Shrimp Filling and Crab Roe Sauce, a rich oceanic concoction.
