While chicken remains the most consumed meat type and poultry in Singapore, the popular fowl pales in comparison to duck when it comes to flavours and savouriness. After all, duck’s dark meat is packed with meaty flavour and has more fat (and thus, flavour) compared to the popular fowl – anyone who has tried duck can tell you that. One way we Singaporeans love to consume duck is roasted duck, which can come in many forms such as Cantonese five-spice duck, Peking duck and herbal duck. Ahead, we point you to the 10 best roast duck places in Singapore that celebrate the hearty rich flavours of the poultry.
