You might have heard about this little event we at The Singapore Women’s Weekly threw last night — our Great Women Of Our Time 2017 awards, which coincided with our 20th Anniversary celebrations. It was so spectacular, so impressive, and so inspiring that a little awards presentation ceremony wasn’t going to do. No, for our 20th Anniversary, we had to go big, and thanks to Lancôme who was our presenter this year, we took over the lounge area of VLV Clarke Quay to toast, eat, and dance the night away. The Editor-in-Chief of The Singapore Women’s Weekly, Barbara Koh, kicked off the night’s festivities with a rousing speech about giving back, outstanding women and the power of paying it forward.
To commemorate our 20th anniversary, Barbara closed her opening with a congratulatory toast. Here’s to another 20 great years ahead!

As part of our 20th Anniversary, The Weekly joined hands with Carrie K Jewellery to design a set of pretty pendants priced at $158 each. Carrie K has kindly pledged 20 per cent of sales from each pendant and necklace set to be donated to the Help Anna campaign, which aims to protect women from incidences of violence.
