Before K-pop and Korean dramas dominated our attention, Hong Kong and Taiwanese media were all the rage growing up. Among the most popular was the boyband F4, consisting of Jerry Yan, Vanness Wu, Vic Chou and Ken Chu. The quartet was formed after the success of the television drama Meteor Garden (2001) where they starred alongside Barbie Hsu. These heartthrobs released a series of albums before going onto developing solo careers. They ultimately disbanded in 2008.

F4 fans, however, will be delighted to find out that the group will be reuniting. Keep scrolling to find out more details.

When is it?

Through the promotional video clip, the quartet will reunite tonight (Oct 30) at 8 pm as they perform on Jiangsu TV's 1001 Night Festival. In another promotional clip, Vanness Wu made a reference to meteor showers in his speech, prompting many to hope that the four will perform some of their songs including the iconic Meteor Rain.

This is, however, not the group's first reunion since their disbandment in 2008. Jiangsu TV had brought the group back together earlier in 2013 for its Spring Festival special. Either way, we ain't complaining.
