We've compiled a list of exciting experiences that you can check out in the coming week.
Hosted by En & Fam, Breakfast with Dad is a social impact event designed to deepen bonds between father and child. The constraints of modern life can make everyday interaction seemingly routine and the two hours spent at breakfast will be filled with bonding activities to entertain and appreciate each other’s company.

Learn about bee-keeping at the Rooftop Farm Experience, inc Bee Encounter
Opt for an unconventional afternoon by learning about the 101s of bee-keeping. A well-kept secret by The Unexpected, the bee-keeping experience is a hands-on activity that takes place over two hours in an organic farm. Begin your journey by getting your hands dirty and inspecting the crops. Did you know that you can DIY high nutrient compost using food scraps?
Learn about the crucial role that bees play in our environment and the different species, nests and hives while getting up close with thousands of live honey bees. Psst - don’t worry as real working bee suits would be provided.
End off the experience with a farm-to-table tasting of mocktails (cocktails for adults) topped with fresh garnishing straight from the garden.
This experience is suitable for children aged three years and up. All guests need to wear covered shoes for safety. Meet at East Coast Road, The Sundowner Farm & Speakeasy, Singapore. Open slots are available on August 26, 27 and 28. Priced from $115/person. Book here.
Deep dive into the iconic New World’s End Amusement Park with Immersive Street Theatre
Relive Singapore’s swinging 60s through an immersive street theatre at Jalan Besar. This 60-minute experience takes you on a unique trail on the dark underbelly of the iconic New World’s End Amusement Park. Step into the multi-sensory theatrical sets narrated via an audio headpiece that tells of alternative heritage stories in this intimate universe. Although you can’t go back in time, OH! Seeks to present art that connects with the everyday on a more meaningful level.

Pottery is a great way for kids to work on their motor skills as they learn basic hand-building techniques in pottery-making (that require good grip and strength control). By utilising different techniques such as coiling, slab building and pinching, the little ones can craft bowls or mugs from scratch, accented with a personal touch.
The workshop runs for approximately 75 minutes each session. Collection of artworks will be available after four weeks, as glazing and two rounds of firings are required. Tickets start from $58 per person. COCOART Kids Club (Level 2) 41 Beach Rd, Beach Road, Singapore.
The Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) and Indonesian batik powerhouse BINhouse are collaborating in a contemporary fashion showcase that explores innovative expressions of batik menswear between established makers and emerging designers. The result is a presentation that redefines batik for the everyday man and audiences. Commonly worn by Indonesian men in ceremonial or formal events, the art of the batik should be known as a symbol of Indonesian heritage and appreciated beyond its purpose as a frock.
From now to October 2 at Asian Civilisations Museum, Level 2 Foyer. Admission is free.
Explore a lush rainforest ecosystem right in the heart of Sentosa with experienced nature guides that will bring focus to the often overlooked flowers and plants of our forest. Perhaps most of us living on an island city would have neglected the integral role that nature plays in our everyday landscape. This trail will allow you to experience first-hand a tropical biotope amid the tall rainforest flora.
No age limit for the nature walk but children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. The Immersive Rainforest Trail starts at $85/person, Siloso Point Station (7 - 11). Participants will gather at chosen timeslots.
Located at Jewel Changi Airport, the Changi Experience studio is a state of the art technology showcase that consists of 20 different interactive touch points over 10 content zones on the history and development of Changi.
Kids can go behind the scenes of its operations and play games simulating airport functions. They can also visit a garden that sings, go for an adrenaline-pumping runway race, and even participate in a quest to collect airport trolleys. Set aside 90 minutes for this experience.
