New Mum DJ Tinc On What It's Like To Give Birth During A Pandemic

With eight years of experience in the industry, Kate Yong, better known as DJ Tinc is an acclaimed deejay and producer. She established her own label and academy, This Beat Is Sick (TBIS), home to seven other artistes in Singapore. The 29-year-old announced her pregnancy in December 2019 via Instagram, to the delight of her fans who she affectionately calls her Tincnation. Within minutes, the comment section was flooded with peers and fans congratulating her.

Tinc was due to deliver during the circuit breaker and she shared her experience with the Dear Covid-19 memory project. Powered by the National Youth Council (NYC) and DSTNCT, this project aims to shed light on the everyday life of fellow Singaporeans during the circuit breaker.
