February was a month of love and Lunar New Year festivities, and March brings even more bonding time with the kiddos, especially with the March school holidays happening from 9 to 17 March. If you haven’t made plans yet, don’t fret. Here are all the events great for any age, from a huge Ramadan bazaar to kid-friendly productions, taking over our shores this month.
1. Disney On Ice

More info: Parents, mark your calendars. The Mothercare Baby & Kids Fair is making its return at Marina Bay Sands. 4. Activities At Children’s Museum Singapore

More info: Spend the March holidays at Children’s Museum Singapore, which is designed for kids 12 years old and below. This month, the museum is hosting plenty of fun activities and events for everyone - from a Family Egg Hunt which has interactive activities, crafts, and a special themed bingo game on 16, 23, and 30 March; to A Musical Journey Back In Time, a performance where Grandpa and Granny tell their grandchildren stories of their childhood in the kampung village. There’s also “I Can Be A Water Hero!”, a drop-in activity from 9 March where kids will learn about water’s importance and sustainability with WonderBot, Water Wally, and Water Sally.
After which, wander around the engaging exhibitions in the museum such as A Voyage Back In Time, a permanent exhibition that takes you back to Singapore's history. There are also special exhibitions that take place on a rotational basis such as Imagine A Garden and Play Pod, both taking place till 17 April.
5. Canvas Ark @ SAFRA’s March School Holiday Programmes

More info: Let the kids express their creativity with Canvas Ark's March Holiday Programme Calendar, where they can dream up canvas paintings of timeless classic animated films - namely, Monsters Inc and Lotso from Toy Story 3. The art curriculum is designed to foster creativity and teach essential art skills, tailored for children aged 4 to 12. Watch as the kids build confidence and learn valuable techniques.

6. Five Footway Festival 2024

7. Matilda the Musical

More info: If you grew up with Roald Dahl books, save the date for Matilda The Musical. Performed by the Royal Shakespeare Company, its making a stop in Singapore after touring globally. Make it a fun night out with the fam with this musical journey of the beloved book by Dennis Kelly, while the cast sing and dance to original songs by Tim Minchin.
8. One Kampong Gelam Ramadan Bazaar

More info: Kampong Glam's famed Ramadan bazaar returns even bigger this year with over 100 food and beverage and retail vendors, live cooking shows, light projections, and traditional dance performances.
Don't miss special highlights such as the Sultan Mosque's 200th-anniversary celebration with stunning light projections and the "Three Arch Design" art exhibition at Sultan Gate Park. There’ll also be live performances by Tomok, Alif Satar, and Taufik Batisah, plus open-air film screenings. On March 23, join the largest mass iftar with 1,500 participants along Arab Street - proceeds support charity partners, making it a celebration with a cause.
9. March On 2024: HOME

10. Eastern Corridor Park Connector
When: 24/7
Where: Pasir Ris Park to East Coast Park.
How much: Free. From $1/30 minutes for a per-per-use bicycle.
More info: The Eastern Corridor is finally complete, and outdoor lovers can now take advantage of 18km of park connectors that starts from Pasir Ris Park and ends at East Coast Park. Bring your bicycles to the many access points throughout Pasir Ris, Tampines, and Bedok, or grab a per-per-use bicycle from Anywheel, Hello Bike, or SG Bike. There are also GoCyling kiosks at Pasir Ris Park and East Coast Park should you want other bicycle options such as tandem or kids' bikes.
If you need a breather, stop by the many pockets of green spots and nature park such as Pasir Ris Town Park, Tampines Eco Green, and Bedok Reservoir Park. More information on the points of interest can be found on the NParks website.
