Support the inaugural edition of Local Farm Festival at Gardenasia

Gardenasia proudly presents its first-ever Local Farm Festival, supported by the Singapore Land Authority, Singapore Food Agency, and Singapore Tourism Board. Themed "Food Future," the event will showcase over 40 local farmers, food tech startups, artisans, crafters, and social enterprises.  It also makes the first three-day local farm-to-table festival held at eco-friendly Gillman Barracks, a creative lifestyle hub. 

This sustainable and educational weekend extravaganza aligns with the precinct's environmentally conscious ethos and aims to create lively community spaces for all to enjoy. Visit to enjoy a diverse array of delicious options, such as farm-fresh fish and chips, artisanal craft beers, and gourmet gelatos, courtesy of our award-winning Farm-To-Table Bistro. 

This year's inaugural event also introduces FarmPacks for a Cause, a community initiative providing families with locally-sourced, Fairtrade farm-fresh produce in partnership with Ray of Hope, a local crowdfunding charity.

Uncover the wonders of Punggol Regional Library for Kids

Singapore celebrates the grand opening of its newest public library in Punggol, featuring five floors of comprehensive and accessible amenities in one of the nation's most youthful residential neighbourhoods.

Some of the highlights include The Toy Library, managed by students from MINDS Fernvale Gardens School, that has a diverse range of play options, including regular toys, educational aids, puppets, and costumes for creative, dramatic, or sensory play. TinkerTots, an accessible space where children can explore the world through DIY tinkering activities with educational toys under parental supervision, offers monthly thematic building challenges and library adventure sheets for engaging sensory activities with parents and caregivers. 

For children aged 4 to 10, the Stories Come Alive Room uses moving images, text, light, and sound effects to create an immersive and interactive storytelling experience. Unique to Punggol Regional Library, patrons can also enjoy Words That Move, a showcase of animated poems by Singapore writers, featuring movement, sounds, and images. This interactive display of poems in the four official languages, projected onto the walls, offers a fun and engaging way to experience and appreciate Singaporean literature.

Get inspired by the galleries and engage in a hands-on craft activity where you'll create your very own Raya dish. Plus, kids can learn the art of tying a sarong in preparation for the festive day!

This enchanting storytelling session is a collaborative effort between the Malay Heritage Centre and Children's Museum Singapore, bringing culture and traditions to life.
