Still looking for activities to do with the whole family? These child-friendly activities are great for both your little ones and you! This week we've also gathered a few online exhibitions and events that you can attend in the comfort (and safety) of your homes.
Whether you want to create little monsters with old clothing or your kids are curious about how Singaporeans used to live in the '50s, then keep reading.
With your kids having been born in a digital age, they may not know much about the way life used to be in Singapore. In this case, take a look at this digital pen pal corner where other kids have asked the older generation questions - and they've received replies! Look at the answers as a family, and maybe even rope in the grandparents to share their own stories. You can also compare how you used to live in the years of your own childhood.
There are also illustrations inspired by the answers provided by the seniors. You can download the templates and colour them in with your children as a fun craft activity as well.
From now to 31 December 2022. Admission is free. It is an online exhibition. View it here.
COVID-19 has made its impact on the fashion scene through mandatory face masks. If you have little aspiring fashion designers in your home, this online exhibition is an international collaboration that showcases curated face masks to document the pandemic.
You and the kids can browse through over 100 face masks from all over the world from the comforts of your own home. Take a look at artistic masks with 3D butterflies, political designs, and patterns that have been influenced by today's pop culture.

Put both your's and your kids' knowledge of Singapore to the test! If you have kids who love frequenting the library (or e-Library) and leaving with a mountain of books, then you are eligible to take part.
Borrow at least four books from your neighbourhood library and redeem your treasure hunt clues for the week. The clue will be sent to your email address, so keep an eye out for them! Each Wednesday features a special clue that will be dropped on NLB's social media platforms. Together with the clues and the Curiocity resources, solve the week's hunt with your kids and win attractive prizes.
This week's hunt location: Kampong Glam.
