1. Drea Chong
Style influencer Drea Chong spent one-on-one time with her younger son Elias during a recent trip to Sydney (her husband had to work while her helper had visa issues so she could only bring one child), where they stayed at an eco-retreat nestled within Taronga Zoo. Here, visitors can get acquainted with native Australian wildlife while soaking up the views of the Sydney Harbour — perfect for nurturing the kids’ love for animals and the great outdoors. Each stay package also offers an afternoon tour of the sanctuary, complimentary access to Taronga Zoo, and supports Taronga’s conservation programs in Australia and globally.
During her trip, she also headed to the Blue Mountains, and recommends checking out the Fairmont Resort Blue Mountains, Scenic World Blue Mountains attraction, and the Lookout Echo Point.
Nadiah M. Din
Nadiah M. Din also took off to Australia with her family of six as well as her mum and sister, but hopped over to Perth instead. They took the kids out to AQWA ( The Aquarium of Western Australia), with the highlight being the glass bottom boat experience, which got the young ones super excited about witnessing a gigantic stingray.
They also visited Caversham Wildlife Park, a family-owned park that houses Australian animals including kangaroos, koalas, possums, wallabies, wombats and Tasmanian devils.
3. Melissa Koh
Meanwhile, Melissa Koh and her family of five hopped on a plane to South Korea, where they spent a couple of weeks exploring the likes of Seoul, Busan, and Jeju Island. From charming seaside cafes to scenic tea plantations and beautiful nature parks, her pictures are sparking wanderlust in us for sure.
4. Tjin Lee
Think safaris and national parks and those in Africa come to mind. But if you're looking for a wildlife escapade nearer to home, pay a visit to Sri Lanka's Yala National Park, where PR maven, entrepreneur and influencer Tjin Lee took her family for an escape away from the city. From leopards, bears and elephants to water buffalos and monkeys, it's where young ones can get closer to and learn more about the great outdoors.
She also offers some tips if you're planning a safari visit.
"Ideally, avoid day trips," she says. "Many are hurried affairs that don’t leave the main road (similar to Sri Lanka Safari) and you’ll also encounter the tourist hordes around any sighting. Stay in a camp with a private concession, if at all possible, so you can explore off-road and there aren’t many other vehicles crowding the animals, but definitely stay in a safari camp for at least 2 or 3 nights (enjoy the walking tours, hot chocolate and Amarula when you stretch your legs mid-drive, sundowners every night) to soak in the ambience, culture and lifestyle. THEN, you can truly say, you’ve been on a safari."
5. Mongabong
Planning a fuss-free multi-generational family trip? According to Yeoh Mongchin, a cruise trip is just right, with activities that'll cater to everyone.
The lifestyle and beauty influencer uploaded a vlog of a recent cruise trip on board the Royal Caribbean with her family, as well as her eight-month-old son Micah. She shares more about the facilities available (like a baby cot), restaurants they visited, as well as nifty necessities she brought, and why she recommends cruise trips if you’re planning a family trip with a baby in tow.
6. Pooja Kawatra
It was a wintry holiday for mumfluencer Pooja Kawatra and her family. Nestled in the heart of the Swiss Alps, Zermatt offers breathtaking mountain landscapes, with the iconic Matterhorn looming in the background, providing a stunning backdrop for family photos.
The town is also car-free, creating a safe and pollution-free environment for families and kids to roam freely. There are many kid-friendly things to do as well, from exploring the charming quiet cobbled street of Hinterdorfstrasse with its barns and historic buildings to easy hiking trails with breathtaking views, and of course, family-friendly skiing.
7. Jessica Tham
Lifestyle influencer Jessica Tham went on a multi-generational family trip to Yang Shuo, a county and resort town in southern China’s Guangxi region that is famed for its dramatic limestone karst formations and outdoor recreation.
Beyond the stunning scenery, Yangshuo is also a standout destination for rock climbing and other active pursuits like hiking and biking. There are also caves and ancient towns as well as villages to explore, like the Fuli Ancient Town, where many of its cobbled roads and old stone houses remain intact. You can also take a scenic cruise down the Li River.
