Mee Toh Teachers Drop Their Own Golden MV for Children’s Day
When the math department turns into a Kpop group 😍

If you thought that math teachers only dealt with numbers, Mee Toh School just rewrote the formula this Children’s Day. The math department stole the show with their very own music video — Golden, from one of 2025’s most popular films, KPop Demon Hunters. That’s a 110 per cent effort, if you ask us.
Decked out in funky outfits and performing with unexpected precision, the usually stern and serious figures of the math department showed off moves that no one saw coming. Students cheered, sang along, and watched in awe as their teachers took centre stage.
Their performance quickly became the talk of the school community and beyond, racking up more than 160,000 views and 3,600 shares (at time of writing) just one day after a video of it was posted by Mdm Suzie, a teacher involved in the production. Comments flooded in from amused alumni and netizens.
“Don’t think I’ve ever heard a hall of kids this happy in a school,” one wrote.
Another said: “So wholesome. And I am crying. Why am I crying?”
A parent added: “My child absolutely loved it and came home telling us about it many times.”
But the performance was more than just a Children’s Day stunt. Mdm Suzie, a teacher at Mee Toh School for 15 years, shared that their goal was to create memories “more fun than solving fractions”.
Judging from Mee Toh School students’ reactions, we’re sure the goal was achieved with flying colours. You might also never look at math teachers the same way again.
As Mdm Suzie wrote in her post: “Stay joyful, keep dancing through life — and remember, even math teachers can have some moves and grooves.”
Math teachers in music videos? Keep ’em coming.
