For many Singaporeans, especially our Muslim friends, visiting the Geylang Serai Ramadan Bazaar is a yearly tradition.

Whether it’s to shop for traditional goods, affordable accessories and trinkets, or just to stuff yourself silly, you can bet the multitude of stalls there offer something for everyone.

Our only problem with heading down to the bazaar? The endless crowd of people everywhere! It definitely makes getting around the area a pain and intensifies the heat by tenfold.

The organisers of the Geylang Serai Bazaar are making an effort to provide a more crowd-friendly experience this year, with larger dining space and wider walkways – but the bazaar is still going to attract a throng of visitors every day.

Besides the regular food and retail booths present at most bazaars, this event will be hosting live Jemaah prayers, daily spiritual sharing sessions and live music performances. 4. Vintage Ramadan Bazaar @ Kampong Punggol

Those living in the Northeast, rejoice! The Vintage Ramadan Bazaar will be back for its second run at Kampong Punggol, where local and Malaysian artistes such as Khai Bahar will be performing every weekend. The best part? Supporting the booths here will help to further a great cause, as $50 from the rental cost of each booth will be donated to AIN Society – a community organisation helping disadvantaged families and individuals, as well as adults suffering from chronic illnesses.

Back by popular demand, the Bazaar Lambak Raya will be held at SingPost Centre this festive season.
