Gone are the days where texting lingo was as harmless as "LOL" and "ROFL".

These days, as technology advances, so have our teens and their texting habits. On Friday, the Northern Irish police team PSNI Newry and Mourne shared an infographic containing the most used sexual acronyms and emojis that teens have been using to convey different types of sexual requests and acts.

The guide appeared on Facebook and has since garnered more than 4,000 shares worldwide.

Besides sexting terms, the guide also revealed the short forms and terms that reference drugs.

While not all of these codes are currently being used by teens in Singapore, as a parent, it's better to know what they are and keep informed should you spot it on your child's phone or computer screen.
