With Breast Cancer Awareness Month in full swing, there are plenty of talks, walks and workouts to help you understand screenings, learn self-checks and show support for women affected by breast cancer.

If you’re thinking about family planning, fertility forums will give you the facts and reassurance you need, while a women’s health public forum sheds light on living well through menopause.

Understanding Breast & Cervical Cancer Screening

If you’re unsure about what kinds of screenings are available in Singapore for breast and cervical cancer, let the experts take you through the recommended options. You’ll also find out about hands-on techniques for self-examination, which is an important step in detecting breast cancer early. Learn about warning signs to look out for, and gain a better understanding on why timing is so important in cancer diagnosis.

Flourish in Pink: Stronger Together for Breast Cancer Awareness & Mental Wellness

Breast cancer awareness, prevention and care takes centrestage at this public health event. Learn more about cancer services, resources and support available to the community. In the first hour of the event, you can take part in a cardio workout session or art therapy workshop. Fringe activities include mental health screenings, eye care clinic services and a photo-taking booth. Breakfast and lunch are provided.

Pink Ribbon Walk 2025

Breast Cancer Foundation’s annual flagship event unites survivors, supporters, families and friends with one goal – to show solidarity, strength and support for women facing breast cancer. Spend a Saturday evening taking a scenic walk with some of Singapore’s iconic monuments as the backdrop. Enjoy fringe activities, live performances and join a best-dressed competition. There will also be goodie bags and giveaways. Walk in honour of a loved one, or just to celebrate survivorship or raise awareness for a good cause.

Act Now, Live Strong, Move Your Body!

Wear your most comfortable pink outfit and join in a workout session to raise awareness for breast cancer. There are four sessions to choose from (participants can pick only one) – HIIT (30 minutes), qigong (60 minutes) and two mat pilates sessions (60 minutes each).

Common Breast Lumps: When to Worry and What to Do?

It can be hard to figure out if what you feel on your breast is a lump at all and if it’s something that requires medical attention. Dr Clement Chia, head of breast surgery service at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, explains what is normal when it comes to breast lumps and when you should see a doctor. Digital Detox: How to unplug and regain mental clarity

Women’s Health Public Forum 2025 – Menopause matters: Living well through menopause and beyond

This public forum begins with three workshops – dressing according to your age and body type, how to build functional strength and be confident in everyday movement, and hands-on strategies for well-being during menopause. The public forum features health experts sharing advice on how to live well during menopause and beyond, anti-aging skin tips, and mental wellness during menopause. There are also Q&A sessions for more insights. Registration closes 12 October.

DARE Programme - Save a Heart, Save a Life!

This interactive session is part of a community initiative that teaches how to perform hands-on Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and to use the Automated External Defibrillator on an infant, child or adult, in the event that they are having a cardiac arrest. Having these tools in your arsenal is useful in helping others in this situation. Places are filled on a first-come, first-served basis so register early.
