The breakfast fave gets a festive update with nian gao and banana slices sandwiched in between slices of golden toasts.
- 3 – 4 eggs, beaten
- 30 g unsalted butter
- 2 slices white bread
- 6 slices nian gao
- 3 small bananas, sliced
- Golden maple syrup, to drizzle
Egg wash the white bread.
Heat butter in pan and fry bread till golden brown.
Place slices of nian gao and bananas on a slice of toast.
Bake toast in oven for 1 min.
Remove and slice into halves.
Drizzle golden maple syrup over before serving.
