Like the local rice flour snack muah chee, this version uses nian gao instead to coat with crunchy, fragrant sesame peanut bits – kids will especially love them!
- 10 g white sugar
- 10 g roasted white sesame
- 20 g roasted peanut, crushed
- 8 pieces nian gao, sliced into strips and steamed
Mix sugar, sesame and peanut in a small bowl.
Cut nian gao into 8 strips and steam in oven for 5 mins.
Coat nian gao with sesame and peanut mixture immediately and serve.
