Treat yourself to some everyday luxury with this chilli seafood pizza, laden with plump prawns and black mussels on the half shell. Don’t forget to finish with a squeeze of fresh lemon before serving.
Ingredients
Pizza dough
- 2¼ cups (335 g) bread flour or plain flour
- 2 tsps (7 g) dried yeast
- 1½ tsps caster sugar
- 1½ tsps fine table salt
- 1½ tbsps extra virgin olive oil
- ¾ cup (180 ml) warm water, approximately
Chilli Seafood Pizza
- 8 uncooked medium king prawns (180g), peeled, deveined, with tails intact
- 4 cleaned baby octopus (360 g), halved lengthways
- 2 fresh long red chillies, chopped finely
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 tsps finely grated lemon rind
- ¼ cup (60 ml) extra virgin olive oil
- ¾ cup (210 g) purchased chilli and basil tomato pasta sauce
- 200 g mixed cherry tomatoes, halved
- 50 g baby rocket
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
