If your kids don’t like drinking regular milk, let them stir their drink with a chocolate spoon. It adds a subtle chocolate flavour but melts pretty slowly, so there’s less sugar rush. Stirring your hot coffee with a chocolate spoon turns it into a chocolate-y mocha drink – perfect to sip while you binge watch K-dramas set in coffee shops.

Ingredients

  • Small bar dairy milk chocolate
  • 1/3 cup Chocolate Melts or Chocolate Buttons (see tip below)
  • 6 teaspoons
  • Candy sprinkles, for decoration
01.
Place your spoons in a container, just to catch any chocolate drops.
02.

Over a medium fire, boil water. Place chocolate in a heatproof bowl, and place over the boiling water to melt. It takes 1-2 minutes to become liquid.

03.

Carefully spoon melted chocolate into teaspoons, and sprinkle with candy sprinkles.

04.
Place chocolate spoons in fridge for at least 10 minutes to harden.
05.

Serve with milk, or hot coffee.

Tip: Chocolate Melts are chocolate buttons that melt very evenly for cooking. Adding them to eating chocolate makes the chocolate spoons easier to fill. But if you can’t find buttons, it’s fine to use eating chocolate alone.
