Delight the kids with these magical egg nests that look like they were plucked out of a fairytale. With how easily constructed they are, these rice bubble treats could even make for a fun Easter family activity.
- 4 of 53 g Mars bars, chopped
- 100 g unsalted butter, chopped
- 3 cups (105 g) rice bubbles
- Assorted chocolate easter eggs
Grease and line 10 bases of a 12 hole (⅓ cup or 80 ml) muffin pan.
Place Mars Bars and butter in a medium saucepan; stir over low heat for 5 mins or until melted.
Place rice bubbles in a large heatproof bowl. Add melted mars bar mixture; stir to combine. Allow to cool; divide mixture among pan holes and shape into nests. Refrigerate until firm and store in refrigerator until just before serving with Easter eggs.
Not suitable to freeze or microwave.
