Give your classic brownie a twist – or shall we say, a swirl? – with this recipe that calls for generous dollops of peanut butter. We guarantee that the whole family will not be able to get enough of these peanut butter swirl brownies!

Ingredients

  • 140g wheat flour
  • 30g cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 250g dark chocolate
  • 150g chocolate chips
  • 125g butter
  • 230g brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • Creamy peanut butter

Sift wheat flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder into a bowl. Set aside.

Melt dark chocolate and butter, then combine.

In a separate bowl, whisk brown sugar eggs, and vanilla essence together.

Pour in the chocolate and butter mixture, and mix well.

Slowly fold in the dry ingredients, then add chocolate chips.

Pour into a lined baking tin and smoothen the surface.

Add in drops of creamy peanut butter, and swirl with a knife.

08.

Bake at 160 degrees for 30 – 35 minutes, cut into squares and serve.
