The Latest Cat-Eye Sunglasses That'll Elevate Your Style
The classic eyewear shape now comes in trendy updates

American artist-designer Altina Schinasi is often attributed as the brains behind the pointy cat-eye sunglasses. Created in the ’30s, she fashioned the distinctive wing-tip silhouette of the frames after harlequin masks, intending it to be equal parts romantic and equal parts fashionable. The style’s cat-eye detail gets adapted on wraparound frames, trendy see-through acetate frames and everything in between.
