This Is How To Dress And Look Cool Even When The Weather Is Super Hot Outside

We’re going to let you in on a little secret - good fashion isn’t just about finding something that looks great on you. Aesthetics only play half a role in determining whether you decide to throw a piece into storage after a season, or keep it in your wardrobe as a wear-it-to-death classic. The other, is comfort.

When your sartorial choices look good but leave you feeling constantly uncomfortable, then that’s going to affect your entire day. For example, you can buy the chicest dress you’ve ever seen, but if the material itches, if it’s too restricting or it doesn’t allow your body to breathe, it turns from a piece that makes you feel strong and beautiful, to something that frankly, you can’t wait to tear off at the end of the day.

One of the biggest battles we face in fashion here, is the ability to stay cool whilst looking good, and that’s exactly why the new Marks & Spencer (M&S) linen collection has caught our fashion-looking, comfort-seeking eye.

The M&S linen collection is available in store from May 2018.

Summer trends come and go but the chic coolness of boho style forever remains the favoured choice of the fashion elite. Cascading carefree fabrics combined with nature-inspired prints: there’s just something special about this kind of slouchy oh-I-just-threw-this-on elegance that makes us want to don a straw hat, wicker bag and blissfully meander the streets barefoot.

Whilst shoes are probably still advisable on the commute to work, the laid-back vibe of the haute bohemian style is available for us all and, what better time to embrace your inner hippie than these dusky summer evenings and hot, bright days?

So imagine our glee upon hearing that Marks & Spencer are due to release an entire bohemian-inspired collection, just in time for our scheduled ‘wardrobe refresh’, which, if we’re honest, is about once a month right after payday.

The collection is split into three delightfully demure categories; Art Haus, Spice Road and Matisse, each with their own distinct personalities to give us a new spin on the typical ‘beachy whites’, which are already aplenty on the high street.

We’ve been lucky enough to take a sneaky first look into the M&S collection to give you the low-down on what’s just about to drop.

The M&S bohemian collection will be available in store from May 2018.
