H&M Drops Its Eclectic Clothing Collab With Fashion Icon Iris Apfel This March

Swedish retailer H&M is drawing you into the flamboyant and eclectic world of style icon Iris Apfel with an upcoming collection that celebrates the 100th birthday of the beloved tastemaker.
A former interior designer, the centenarian is known for a fashion aesthetic that is anything but restrained. And you can expect the same signature eclecticism from her tie-up with H&M. The line-up is an explosion of vivid colours, textures, patterns and cuts — for instance, there's a jacquard suit with peapod embroidery and pearl peas, an extravagant ruffled top, and a flouncy tiered skirt and blouse co-ord in a beautiful iris flower print. You'll even find a bathing suit printed with a motif of Apfel's signature oversized glasses.
And if you share the icon's penchant for chunky statement accessories and layering, then you'll want to shop the series of playful pieces, from bejewelled loafers to quirky rings, and eye-catching necklaces and bracelets.
