Kirsten Dunst's Whimsical Vintage-Style Collab With Coach Has Landed In Singapore
The tie-up blends Kirsten Dunst’s love for nostalgia-core and her passion for whimsical illustrations.

Kirsten Dunst is our forerver stargirl. Anyone going through the actress’ red carpet archives would know that she’s a consummate vintage fiend who has stepped out in designers’ works from the past for major events from the Oscars to the Cannes Film Festival. And while many might not know this, the 41-year-old is also behind Observed By Us, one of the coolest and most imaginative fashion labels for children at the moment. Founded in 2020 with illustrator and designer Jessica Herschko, the label is known for its practice of repurposing and giving pre-loved pieces like Vans sneakers and smock dresses a new breath of life with Herschko’s whimsical custom doodles.
So it makes perfect sense for New York label Coach – a brand serious on craftsmanship and mending archival pieces, sustainability and for its classic Americana cool – to come together with Dunst and Herschko for a fashion project. Launching today at the brand’s stores in Wisma Atria and The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands as well as its concept store, Coach Play Singapore Shophouse, the outing spans ready-to-wear, bags such as the well-loved Tabby and accessories that are embellished with original hand-drawn child-like illustrations by Herschko. These include a wool knit top, jeans with all-over embroidery and a granny-chic cardigan. To up the charm factor, Herschko wrote, by hand, tales for the illustrations as story patches for the designs.
Coach creative director Stuart Vevers said: “Creating this collection with Kirsten and Jessica was delightful. We got to celebrate our shared love of imagination and playfulness. Kirsten, and her style, has often been an inspiration for me. So, to design alongside her and Jessica, and to blend their vivid storytelling and colour with our own American heritage design language and craftsmanship was really inspiring.”
