Shoe Designer Mashizan Shares His Top 10 Tips To Choosing The Perfect Footwear

Shoes – a woman's best friend. There, we said it, it's not diamonds but shoes which many women are in love with. But with the plethora of styles, makes, brands and designs out there, it is sometimes a daunting task to shop for the right pair you need (plus everyone has limited closet space and can't just buy everything they love!).

We got shoe designer Mashizan Masjum, the founder and designer of shoe brand MASHIZAN which is showing at this year's Singapore Fashion Week, to give us his top 10 tips every shoe-loving woman must know.

Mashizan is a Singapore-born, Florence-based documentary filmmaker who decided to follow his passion in fashion and shoemaking. He honed his footwear craft in Florence, Italy from master artisan Angelo Imperatrice as well as the former head designer of Ferragamo, Ilaria Papucci, and went on to create MASHIZAN to offer beautiful luxury heels with fine artisanal quality. The brand is now stocked internationally at stores in New York and Milan, as well as here in Singapore.

MASHIZAN will close the Singapore Fashion Week on October 30, 9 pm @ National Gallery Auditorium Foyer. MASHIZAN’s Fall/Winter ollection will be available at Robinsons The Heeren and Julie Nicole at Capitol Piazza.
