1. Wrapped In Green

On day four of the royal tour, Kate casually provided us with one of her most incredible outfits to date. Wearing a breathtaking teal and gold shalwar kameez, the beautiful ensemble was handmade by designer Maheen Khan, and was an off-the-rack purchase from London boutique O'nitaa. The gorgeous French chiffon garment was hand embroided with gold silk by the tribespeople of Swarth in Pakistan.

We can't help but be reminded of Princess Diana's own green headscarf moment when she visited Lahore in 1991.

2. Royal Purple

On the second of her royal tour of Pakistan, Duchess Catherine paid a subtle tribute to her late mother-in-law. She wore a gorgeous purple kurta, the traditional outfit worn by women and men in many south-Asian countries, including Pakistan, and Kate's look bears a striking resemblance to a very similar outfit Diana wore during her final visit to Pakistan in 1997, just months before her tragic death.

Kate's kurta was also made by Maheen Khan, which the Duchess teamed with £23.99 (S$43) tan suede low-block heeled shoes from British high street retailer New Look.

3. Blue Loving

When Duchess Catherine stepped off the plane to make her grand arrival in Pakistan, it would be safe to say our breath was collectively taken away. Wearing a stunning turquoise outfit, which is traditionally known as a shalwar kameez in Pakistan, Kate looked like a true Princess in a custom Catherine Walker design.

And while the royal looks incredible in basically everything, there was something particularly special about this outfit.

Kate's ombré turquoise dress that really stole the show, especially given that it heavily resembled Princess Diana's iconic pale blue ensemble which she previously wore during her own visit to Pakistan back in 1996.

While Kate's cowl-neck custom creation looked flowy and elegant, Diana's button-down ensemble had some slight differences, but there's no denying the two royal ladies were mirroring each other in a very special way.
