The Art of Giving Afternoon Tea set at Shangri-La Singapore
Each year, Shangri-La Singapore pays tribute to International Women’s Day with a specially crafted afternoon tea set that supports United Women Singapore’s (UWS) efforts in promoting women’s empowerment and fostering gender equality. It’s available at The Rose Veranda at Shangri-La Singapore and at Silver Shell Cafe at Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa, Singapore.
Dotted with purple hues, the Art of Giving Afternoon Tea starts with entrees like slow-roasted Norwegian salmon with purple sweet potato and a blueberry Pinot Noir reduction, and beer- and mustard-braised beef short ribs with truffle celeriac espuma. A vegetarian option is available.
Then you’ll move on to warm savouries, fresh scones, cold sandwiches and artfully plated desserts. Dig into a banana passionfruit curd with Jivara chocolate mousse and lemon madeleine, a delicate blueberry matcha latte cheesecake, and more. The afternoon tea is available at both restaurants at $68++ throughout March, and $5 from every afternoon tea will be donated to UWS.
