This 5-Room HDB Flat In Clementi Was Given A Modern Farmhouse Makeover

This modern farmhouse home in Singapore was designed by interior design firm Aiden T. The renovation cost for this five-room HDB flat totaled up to $72,000.

Shiplap walls

To achieve the look, designer Arjan Twilhaar designed shiplap walls made out of painted wood veneer planks.

Display Shelf

The home belongs to a young professional couple and their baby, and is filled with trinkets and mementos.

Buy furniture online

Many of the furniture and accessories were sourced online (including sites like Etsy) and second-hand.

Herringbone floors

The Soon Bee Huat floor tiles were laid in a herringbone pattern. Arjan also added a perimeter border for some extra detail and layering.

Bright and airy kitchen

The mostly-white kitchen features laminates from EDL and countertop by Silestone.

Farmhouse Bedroom

In the bedroom, the couple chose a patterned blue duvet cover. It certainly adds to the cosy farmhouse look!

Bathroom decorations

The master bathroom was also dressed up in the homeowners’ many wall accessories. We love the sconces that frame the mirror!
