This Is How To Style Biker Jackets Like A Girl Boss

A fan of ’70s music legends like Blondie, Sex Pistols and Joan Jett, as well as ’90s supermodel Kate Moss? You'd know that their wardrobe staples include stylish biker jackets that can catch anyone's attention. If you've been deciding whether or not to cop their look, now is the best time to do it because the outerwear is back after a long break from the catwalks.

In the hands of Alexander McQueen’s Sarah Burton, it was paired with a frou-frou tulle skirt and heavy-duty work boots – a look synonymous with London’s underground punk movement. Simone Rocha’s version, however, is the opposite of punk, as she gave the jacket a girlie update with puffy sleeves.

Pro tip: Avoid wearing it with skinny jeans – a baggier, more loose-fit silhouette is the way to go.

Something about it is just so sexy, especially when the leather ages and it has a naturally distressed finish. This season, I like McQueen’s take on the biker jacket paired with a tulle skirt.
