Maxi Skirts Are The New Hot-Trend: Here Is How To Style It

Midi skirts were trending for quite a while, but the in-fashion look is now maxi skirts that go down to your ankles. Big names in the fashion world such as Louis Vuitton are coming up with dramatic hoop styles, while Alexander McQueen fancies embellished tulle creations. Prada is also hopping on the bandwagon with slinky, minimalistic designs.

Some of these maxi skirts even came fitted with a train (at Prabal Gurung), but we think the most directional design had to be from Loewe, which came in the form of a black, flowing skirt with structured details.

Maxi skirts are definitely the next big thing. Get fancy with a blazer and a voluminous, statement-making skirt a la Louis Vuitton, or do as Saint Laurent does and work a sleek silhouette with a vest and long skirt.
