With the pandemic slowly taking its toll on our mental health, many of us have felt its effects. From isolation to uncertainty about our future, it is normal to feel shaken. During this period when it seems that we are alone more than ever, many find themselves alone as they battle anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions. Yet, it doesn't have to be that way.

These conditions are that which we should be comfortable acknowledging so that we can ask those around us for help and so that we can support others if they need a shoulder to lean on.

World Mental Health Day, which falls on October 10 every year, aims to do spread that message. The day is commemorated to raising awareness about mental health problems and the need for adequate treatment of it. This year, you can do these five things to mindfully work on yourself.
