Glow And Flutter: The Beauty Duo For Brighter Skin And Natural-Looking Lashes

A hands-on approach to brighter skin

The Bojin Facial with Eye Bojin combines traditional bojin techniques – a hands-on massage method with the use of a bojin rod to apply firm, targeted strokes – with focused care around the eye area. Rather than relying on machines, the facial massage is performed by hand with the tool, with movements designed to leave the skin looking brighter and more lifted.

The bojin rod applies focused pressure along facial muscles and meridian points to help release tension, while flicking, gliding and pressing motions help stimulate circulation and reduce puffiness for a more contoured, lifted look.

Spa Awards reviewer Karen Fong, who came in with concerns about dryness and sagginess, was charmed from the outset. “Very conveniently located – it’s great for the River Valley mums, but also not too far from Orchard Road,” she noted, describing the space as comfortable and inviting.

The facial began with an approach to skin softening that Karen had not encountered before: A sheet mask and softening liquid were used in place of steam before extractions. “I fell asleep during the extractions, which means the treatment was quite relaxing,” she shared.

The massage that followed was firmer in feel. “The bojin massage was strong but good,” Karen said, adding that she was impressed that the spa used Spanish skincare products throughout the facial. 

After the treatment, Karen noticed an immediate difference in how her skin looked and felt. “My skin was super glowy and hydrated, while looking lifted,” she said. “I feel the results were better than some of the other manual facials I’ve had in the past.”

Lashes that look like your own

It’s not just the facial that impressed reviewers – Belle Mi’s lash work took home its own win.

For reviewer Jassmin Berntzen, the brief was simple: “I wanted pretty lashes for an upcoming special occasion, but I didn’t want them to look too fake or overdone.”

The Signature Feather Lash Set, which won the award for Most Natural-Looking Lash Extensions, is tailored to the client’s eye shape and natural lash line for a softer, lightweight finish.

The treatment took place in a spacious, bright area also used for nail services, with oversized seats that added to the comfort of the experience. A private room is also available for those who prefer a quieter setting.

The finished result was exactly what she had hoped for. “The lashes turned out exactly how I wanted them to,” she said. “I’ve received many compliments, and most of them were about how natural-looking they are – some thought they were my own lashes, which really is the best kind of compliment.”

Compared with previous lash-extension experiences, Jassmin also found the extensions felt weightless and noted minimal shedding.
