The 30-Minute Lunch-Break Treatment That Helps Lift, Sculpt And Define

The Onda Pro Lift and Sculpt device works below the skin using controlled microwave energy. On areas such as the tummy or thighs, it’s used to target specific pockets of fat beneath the skin. The controlled heat also supports collagen and elastin production, which may help improve skin firmness over time.

On the face, the focus is on creating better definition, particularly around the lower cheeks, chin and jawline. Onda Pro can also be used to help reduce the appearance of cellulite and uneven texture on areas such as the thighs or buttocks. Up to six areas can be treated in a single session, with each area taking around eight to 16 minutes.

Esme agreed. As the device moved across her stomach, she found the sensation “mildly surprising”, though having it explained beforehand meant “it wasn’t”. She also kept in mind “that the treatment was for results, so discomfort was not a hindrance”. 

What to expect after your treatment 

Each session lasts 20 to 30 minutes, making it easy to fit into a lunch break or between appointments. Any warmth or redness typically settles within a few hours, but this may vary for some customers. Esme was advised to stay well hydrated and avoid strenuous exercise for the next 24 hours. 

Illuminate Medispa Dempsey’s setting also left a positive impression on Esme from the moment she arrived. “The spa’s ambience is very nice, from their outdoor seating area to the interiors,” she said. She also described the treatment room as being private, clean and comfortable.

Onda Pro Lift and Sculpt is best approached as a course, with Illuminate Medispa typically recommending four to six sessions spaced two to four weeks apart. As results continue to develop over time, maintenance sessions can then be scheduled every six to 12 months.
