Just like that, we're a quarter into the Year of the Snake. While many of us kicked off the year by checking what our fortunes would be like for the year ahead, some have been busy with other things — like welcoming a new addition to their family in 2025.

Those born in the Year of Snake (like Chen Liping, Taylor Swift, Aaron Kwok and Psy!) are said to be wise, charming, sensitive, and intuitive — possible traits these celeb babies in the list below could have!

1. Desmond Tan

It's baby number two for Singapore actor Desmond Tan and his wife! The 38-year-old shared the news with a video on his Instagram page, along with the cutest gender reveal that showed his one-year-old daughter holding a blue bouquet — hinting that a baby boy is on the way. While Desmond hasn’t revealed the due date just yet, there’s a good chance their little one will arrive before the year is out.

2. Glenda Chong

Newscaster Glenda Chong has a Snake baby! The 51-year-old has welcomed her first child with lawyer Justin Chan after her 10th IVF try. She shared her pregnancy journey in a CNA article last October, when she was four months into her pregnancy. She told CNA that the couple wedded late – she was 41 and Justin, 38 – so they wasted no time in trying for a baby, but were unsuccessful. After two years, they turned to IVF treatment. After three frozen cycles and seven fresh ones, she successfully conceived her baby in her 10th year of marriage.

Her son, nicknamed Baby Chan, was born on Mar 5, 2025 at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital.

3. Adrian Ang (Sgag's Xiao Ming)

It's a Valentine's Day baby for Hepmil Media Group co-founder Adrian Ang, better known as Xiaoming from local entertainment site Sgag, and his wife Xin Lei — their second child Natalie arrived on Feb 14, 2025. They also have a son, Zachary, who was born in July 2022.

Previously, Adrian had opened up about the couple’s fertility journey, including experiencing loss. In an interview in Sep 2024, Adrian said he is excited to see how fatherhood would change him, now that he is a father of two. When asked about his parenting experience, he said that it's important to adopt the mindset of “this too shall pass” when overcoming challenges. Preach.

4. Simon Khung (Simonboy)

It's a boy for Simonboy, whose real name is Simon Khung. The 37-year-old local content creator and his wife Chloe Eong, also known as Simongirl, have welcomed their first child together after a challenging 45-hour labour. The pair, who tied the knot in 2024, named their son Sunny in the hope that he will be happy and cheerful. “We also pray he will be a shining light to the people around him,” Khung added.

Sunny is Simon’s third child. He has an older son from a previous marriage, and tragically lost his daughter Megan in 2020 at age four. Her death followed a year of abuse by Simon’s former wife Foo Li Ping and her then-boyfriend Wong Shi Xiang. Both have been sentenced to jail.

5. Son Dam-bi

South Korean singer-actress Son Dam-bi announced in Sep 2024 that she is expecting her first child with her husband Lee Kyu-hyuk, who is a former speed skater. The couple has been married since 2022. The 41-year-old has been open about her IVF journey on her YouTube channel. In June 2024, she told viewers that she was on her second IVF treatment, and that gained weight due to the treatments and following her doctor's advice.

6. Grace Wong

In Dec 2024, Hong Kong actress Grace Wong announced on Instagram that she and her husband are expecting their first child. The couple has been married for eight years, and dated for 11 years prior. The 38-year-old actress posted a photo of her husband kissing her baby bump, with a caption that started with a string of emojis to announce the pregnancy, and also wrote: “Thank you Jesus for blessing us with a little one. We are so excited to be parents!” She broke the news weeks after her good friend Priscilla Wong's pregnancy announcement.

In April this year, the actress also threw a gender reveal party at the Regent Hong Kong that was shared online — it's a girl!

7. Priscilla Wong

If you're into TVB dramas and celebrities, you'd probably be familiar with the love story of Priscilla Wong and Edwin Siu who met on the set of Madam Cutie on Duty in 2014. Fast-forward a decade later, and they have recently welcomed their first child!

The celeb couple shared a video log of the process, from the trip to Hong Kong Adventist Hospital – Tsuen Wan to the nerve-wracking moments before the delivery, and finally being able to hold their newborn in their arms. And to make it an even more memorable day, it's also Edwin's birthday. Priscilla wrote, "To our little son — Just quietly letting you know — today is Daddy’s birthday. As we bring you home, he says, 'My birthday wish has come true.'"

Earlier on, Priscilla had revealed her pregnancy in a short clip that started with videos from their 2018 wedding, and their journey before it ended with footage of her showing the positive pregnancy test kit to Edwin, who looked emotional. Her caption tugged at heartstrings, as she revealed that she previously suffered a miscarriage. She wrote, “We shared our family’s small story and hope to provide strength to parents who have experienced a similar loss. We understand the pain which cannot be expressed in words, but we hope that everyone will believe in better days ahead. There is no need for fairy tales in life, but we can find hope.”

8. Wu Jin Yan

Is Wu Jin Yan pregnant? People seem to think so after the 34-year-old was spotted with what looks like a baby bump at an event. The Story of Yanxi Palace actress was seen wearing loose-fitting clothes, but eagle-eyed netizens think she had a baby bump, which was more obvious when she stood sideways and sat down. However, other netizens claimed she could just be playing the role of a pregnant woman in the drama that she was then filming. The event was her first public appearance after she announced her marriage to actor Hong Yao on Weibo by posting a photo of their marriage registration.

9. Jennifer Lawrence

Westerners may not use the Chinese calendar, but hey, a Snake baby is a Snake baby. Hunger Games star, Jennifer Lawrence, 34, has welcomed her second child with art gallerist husband Cooke Maroney, whom she married in 2019. The couple also has a son, Cy Maroney, who turns three this year.

When it comes to their family, the couple have kept things pretty low-key, preferring as much privacy for her children as possible, so no details regarding the baby’s name, birth date, or gender have been publicised.

10. Megan Fox

Megan Fox recently gave birth to a baby girl – her first with ex-fiance Machine Gun Kelly. The 38-year-old actress announced her pregnancy on Instagram in November with a photo of her covered in black liquid and showing off her baby bump, and another photo of a pregnancy test kit with a positive result. Shortly after, she reportedly broke off the engagement with the singer in December after she allegedly saw texts between him and other women. She said in a December interview with People that her three kids, whom she shares with ex Brian Austin Green, are excited to have a younger sibling. She said they “have promised to help out and pitch in.”

11. Gisele Bundchen

Supermodel Gisele Bündchen delivered a baby boy on Feb 5 this year, her first child with her Jiu-Jitsu instructor boyfriend Joaquim Valente. In Oct 2024, a source close to her told People that the 44-year-old was pregnant. Although the couple hasn't confirmed it, she was spotted with a baby bump in Costa Rica on Christmas Eve. Gisele and Joaquim have been dating since June 2023. This is baby number three for Gisele, but her first with Joaquim. She shares two children with her ex, Tom Brady, and was also the stepmom to his son from a previous relationship. The couple was married for 13 years before they divorced in 2022.
