It's World Dyslexia Awareness Week from Oct 2 to 7, when we commemorate dyslexia sufferers across the globe. Dyslexia is a learning disability where people have trouble reading and comprehending words, and struggle with spelling and writing. In Singapore, it's estimated that 23, 000 preschool, primary and secondary school kids are dyslexic, and the Dyslexia Association of Singapore offers help to them and their families.
