For oily skin types, the Oil-Free Gel is a light lotion texture that helps balance and refreshes their skin. Moisturising Tone-Up Gel is a base that offers eight hours of oil-free hydration paired with a rosy glow. The newest, Hydrating Clearing Jelly is an oil-free base that helps to visibly improve troubled, bumpy skin while exfoliating the skin gently.
Once you've picked your base, you can pick amongst one of the six Active Cartridge Concentrates to create your own Clinique iD. Each active concentrate cartridge is formulated to address a specific skin concern. From pore-minimising, brightening, lines and wrinkles, to refining skin textures or dullness – take your pick. These cartridges use active ingredients like ginseng for a rosy glow, sakura to stabilise the skin, Japanese Angelica root to even and brighten, and soothing lactobacillus probiotic ferment. The newest cartridge, Imperfections Active Cartridge Concentrate, has a focus on skin imperfections like large pores, bumps, and uneven texture on the skin.
Together, your custom Clinique iD pumps out 90 per cent of the hydration base and 10 per cent of the active cartridge concentrate. Consider this balanced and effective moisturiser a two in one treatment that keeps the skin hydrated while targeting your skin's main concerns.

Joining the range this month, January 2021, Clinique iD will include a Hydrating Clearing Jelly Base with Imperfections Active Cartridge Concentrate. The Dramatically Different Hydrating Clearing Jelly Base is Clinique's first custom blend clearing hydrator that addresses all phases of skin imperfections. Enriched with salicylic acid, lactic acid, and glucosamine, the trio help to exfoliate the skin while unclogging pores and restoring dull skin over time. It also helps to control oil and shine within the skin while providing balanced hydration with hyaluronic acid and lactobacillus probiotic ferment.
The Imperfections Active Cartridge Concentrate takes it up a notch with a focus on skin imperfections like large pores, bumps, congestion, or uneven texture. In the period where maskne is the norm, this addition couldn't come at a better timing. Formulated with salicylic acid, laminaria saccharina, glucosamine, and zinc PCA, this cartridge helps to prevent excess oil build-up within the pores while unclogging and reducing the appearance of pores. Paired with caffeine and lactobacillus probiotic ferment, the concentrate also soothes and calms the skin for a healthier skin microbiome.
