"I really had a hard time with it. But, as I said maybe, in some periods of my life I gave myself too much pressure and I always kept chasing success and chasing fame and sometimes I feel very insecure but after depression, I found my religious belief, I found God, and I think God saved me and changed my values. He gave me true confidence in my heart, my confidence no longer depends on outside [factors], no longer depends on my success and fame. So when I look back, I appreciate that I got that experience of depression and got to become this new me."

Sammi on her role in First Night Nerves

"I'm so glad I got to show my dimension as an actress, to show a different side of myself in a different genre. I think for me it's not to hard [to make the switch from comedy to drama] but I understand that for my fans and for the viewers, it will take them time to accept the change. I can understand this feeling but I'm not worried as long as I know that I'm given a good script and the role is challenging, I think that audiences will accept this change and see how good it is."
