Jamie Yeo Showed Us The Cutest Way To Flaunt Your Kids' Artwork

Turn your bag into a one-of-a-kind treasured keepsake

What do you do with your kids' artwork or cards? More often than not, they'd wind up in the drawer. Or you could turn them into a photo book, or have them framed up as a personal gallery wall. Or perhaps you could take a leaf from Jamie Yeo's book and turn them into bag designs.

The former actress and radio DJ Jamie Yeo shared that she had commissioned her daughter Alysia for artwork that ultimately made their way onto her bespoke luxury bag, which she created with Singapore-based handbag designer Adrian Furstenburg.

Jamie added that she had commissioned Alysia to create some drawings, with a focus on an “anime” style family portrait. The final design also includes drawings from her son Luke, and writing from their past notes ("cute spelling mistakes and all"). Up close, we spotted illustrations of the family — that's Jamie, her husband Rupert, Alysia, Luke, and their pet dog Sasha.

And under the flap, is an illustration of their previous dog Ranny, which had passed away earlier this year. Too sweet.

As for parents looking to display their kids' artwork, it's not just bags that can be personalised. Here are some ideas.

  • Other leather or fabric goods like wallets and key holders
  • Sneakers
  • Greeting cards or gift wraps
  • Printed as stickers for your laptop, or for gifts
  • Mugs
  • Phone cases
