Your first day of the programme ends with a hearty dinner, as well as a flamingo-themed activity before you retire for the night in a bell tent, right in front of the flamingo enclosure.

There's no need to worry about sleeping rough for the night, because the tents are located in an air-conditioned space. They're also outfitted with twin beds (for up to four guests), pillows, blankets, charging points, and a fan.

When you wake up, you'll get to feed the flamingos their first meal of the day, before you tuck into your own. And once your bellies are full, you'll head to Penguin Coast for a breakfast feeding of the park’s waddle of penguins.

There's another feeding session during your stay, which takes place amidst the rainforest atmosphere of the African Treetops, and where you can get acquainted with a variety of African bird species. The exhibit houses over 400 birds from 40 species including the starlings with their iridescent plumage as well as hornbills and turacos.

Have your cameras at the ready for photo ops with the aviary’s crowning feature, a 30-metre-tall waterfall, the world’s tallest within an aviary.
