Meet The Single’s Inferno Season 5 Cast & Find Them On Instagram

January 2026 is here, and that means Single’s Inferno Season 5 will soon grace our screens.

.If you haven’t already caught the last four seasons, the premise of the hit reality dating show centres around a group of young, single South Korean heartthrobs searching for love while stranded on an island (with the exception of the production crew, of course). Contestants aren’t allowed to reveal their age or occupation, so they must rely purely on charm and chemistry to win over a match. Each time they match up, they get to spend a night in Paradise (a fancy hotel), while those who don’t remain on the Inferno island.

By the end of the show, each contestant must make a final choice, revealing who they’ve truly connected with.

When is Single’s Inferno Season 5 releasing on Netflix?

Season 5 is set to air on Netflix on Jan 20, 2026 (4pm SGT), but the full release schedule has yet to be announced. Netflix has also dropped a trailer that isn’t short on spicy, even more sizzling scenes, from swimwear-clad bods to couples cuddling in bed. There looks to be more drama, too, with panel emcee Hong Jin-kyung saying in the trailer, “Season 5 is wild” and the others looking to be totally speechless.

Who’s the cast of Single’s Inferno Season 5?

The emcee panel from the past seasons are apparently set to return. There’s Hong Jin-kyung, Lee Da-hee, Kyuhyun, Hanhae and S2 contestant Dex (Kim Jin-young).

The producers have also teased that this season will have the largest number of contestants, and the teaser has also revealed one of the faces. Netflix has also dropped a poster, showing some members of the cast.

Kim Min-ji

The 29-year-old is an athlete, and according to Koreaboo, is a runner for the esteemed Jincheon County team in Chungcheongbuk-do Province. She’s not new to showbiz either, having appeared on Korean shows like Kick A Goal and Knowing Bros.

On her Instagram account, she also posts lots of sporty pictures, and we’re looking forward to her putting up a fight during competitive games on the show.

Kim Go-eun

Not to be confused with the Goblin actress who shares the same name, Kim Go-eun is a model and former Miss Korea runner-up (2022). She has also been linked romantically with K-pop star G-Dragon, although the latter’s agency has denied them, stating that the two are just friends.

Lim Sung-jin

Volleyball player Lim Sung-jin, who has already a huge social media following (he has one million followers on Instagram) is said to be appearing on the show. The 26-year-old currently plays for professional volleyball club Uijeongbu KB Insurance Stars as an outside hitter. According to Volleybox, he stands at a towering 1.95m.

Mina Sue Choi

Mina Sue Choi was crowned Miss Earth in 2022, the first time South Korea won the Miss Earth pageant. The 26-year-old was born in Sydney, Australia, before moving back to South Korea at a young age. From her Instagram page, she’s currently a student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in the United States.

Danny Koo

Danny Koo is already a known figure — the Korean-American musician is a violinist who was part of the Ensemble DITTO (a popular, all-male Korean chamber music group that disbanded in 2019), and has also appeared on Korean survival show Superband 2 (2021). He also holds music degrees from the New England Conservatory in Massachusetts, and has held performances globally. Will he charm the ladies with his musical abilities? We’ll find out.
