One of the things that we always look forward to at the annual Star Awards is of course the red carpet segment. After all, celebrities and their glam teams undergo hours to look their best for the awards ceremony.

This year is no different. The stars arrived on the red carpet outside The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands in their most show-stopping and conversation-sparking fits. Check out some of our favourite looks below.

Jesseca Liu

1/13

We can't get over Jesseca Liu's head-turning skin-baring gown by Spanish label Isabel Sanchis that leaves little to the imagination. A dramatic skirt with a glossy finish brings drama to the look.

Jeanette Aw

2/13

Jeanette Aw looked equal parts sharp and alluring in a Dolce & Gabbana outfit that has menswear-inspired accents and a sheer skirt that showcased her gams.

Zoe Tay and Qi Yuwu

3/13

Arguably the most eye-catching outfit of the night, Zoe wore a tiered floral appliqué gown by Oscar de la Renta and looked ravishing and regal. She strolled down the red carpet with Qi Yuwu, who sported a classic black tux with a turtleneck, with a glittery lapel pin.

Rebecca Lim

4/13

Sporting a sleek new lob, All Time Favourite Artiste winner Rebecca picked a backless black gown with an extended train that dialled up the drama.

Chantalle Ng

5/13

Chantalle transformed into a sexy goddess and slayed in her blingy custom beaded design by homegrown designer Denise Chong. We heard that the party-ready number was hand-beaded and it took 150 hours to complete. Definitely worth the effort!

Carrie Wong

6/13

Effortless and cool, Carrie dripped attitude and style in her David Koma embroidery dress.

Hong Ling and Nick Teo

7/13

Spotted in a low-key white strapless dress that perfectly balances out her opulent Bulgari necklace, Hong Ling’s outfit is proof that you don’t need to go super dramatic to grab everyone’s attention.  Her fiance and fellow actor matched her in an all-white outfit and sparkly necklace.

Ayden Sng

8/13

Guys can look great in pink too. Case in point: Ayden stood out from his peers with his Valentino pink glittery sequin suit and accessorised it with a Bulgari Serpenti necklace. He even went a step further, going sans shirt and spotlighting his male cleavage.

Desmond Tan

9/13

It was all in the details for Desmond who wore an Alexander McQueen suit with intricate beaded Nettle embroidery that turned his look from stylish to statement-making.

Felicia Chin and Jeffrey Xu

10/13

The duo arrived in matching and failsafe black ensembles, attending the Star Awards for the first time as a married couple. While Jeffrey was fitted in a Balmain suit, Felicia rocked her Ralph Lauren jumpsuit that features a long and dramatic bow train.

Elvin Ng

11/13

Known for his adventurous Star Awards outfit choices (like that memorable 'bandung' suit), Elvin kept his look more low-key this year and he described his red carpet look as “sexy and mysterious”. We can’t agree more.

Tasha Low

12/13

Tasha transformed into a screen siren with her deep plunging PINKO black gown featuring padded shoulders for a structured look. Her strappy thigh-high heels added a rebellious vibe to her look.

Bonnie Loo

13/13

Bonnie donned a black asymmetric dress with thigh high slit and a daring waist-bearing cutout that highlighted her slender figure.
