From jaw-dropping glam to “what were they thinking?” moments, here’s your front-row ticket to the night’s most unforgettable OOTDs

The Star Awards 2025 Walk of Fame was a dazzling parade of style, with celebrities pulling out all the stops for the show’s milestone 30th anniversary.
From bold fashion risks to timeless elegance, the Star Awards 2025 Walk of Fame delivered plenty of memorable looks — some for all the right reasons, and a few that had everyone talking for other reasons.
OOTD Hits: Best Dressed Standouts
Jesseca Liu & Jeanette Aw

Jesseca Liu (second from left) is out here doing what she does best — serving goddess realness with those peekaboo sides. Seriously, she just floats in and everyone else might as well go home. Jeanette Aw (second from right), on the other hand, showed up in a strapless black dress with a white tulle hem, totally reliving her Rainbow Connection days from 2005, but this time in an upgraded version that’s almost a nod to her dance background too. Not sure about those chunky black heels, but hey, she’s still ready to twirl her way into the Best Dressed list.
In fact, Jeanette’s outfit reminds us of the one Jennie from Blackpink wore to the Cannes Film Festival in 2023.
Tasha Low & Chantalle Ng

Tasha Low (in green) and Chantalle Ng (in pink) looked extra cute together in fur — though honestly, how are they not melting in this heat? On screen, they’re enemies in Emerald Hill, but in real life, they get along so well they even matched outfits and walked the red carpet together. The two of them side by side look like a pair of exclusive Labubus. Totally adorbs.
Zoe Tay & Li Nanxing

If The Unbeatables were filmed in 2025, this is how we’d picture the iconic duo, Luo Qifang (Zoe Tay) and Yan Fei (Li Nanxing). Zoe Tay rocked up to the red carpet in a regal Chanel coat, with her hair slicked back and looking like the absolute queen she is. Meanwhile, Li Nanxing gave total zaddy vibes with his sharp all-black ensemble, elevated by a glittering floral brooch and a pair of sleek shades.
Desmond Tan & Paige Chua

Paige Chua showed up at the Star Awards 2025 looking like a modern-day Medusa — but way more glam and way less scary. Her all-gold dress sparkled so much it could probably blind you if you stared too long. The snake necklace and bracelet? Ssslay. It's as though she's saying, “Don’t mess with me, I’m fabulous and I might turn you to stone.” This look is a total hit — Paige is serving goddess energy and we’re here for it.
Meanwhile, Desmond Tan’s sequinned Amiri suit is a bold departure from the usual. We’re still on the fence about whether it's a perfect match for the suave star, but we’re definitely giving him extra sartorial points for daring to break away from a safe option.
Yvonne Lim & Family

Yvonne Lim brought the whole fam to the Star Awards 2025, and they nailed the matchy-matchy game! The actress went full old Hollywood in a dramatic black Oscar de la Renta mermaid gown with white polka dots, while her daughter Alexa totally twinned with her in a cute puff-sleeve polka dot dress. Is there an award for the most adorable mother-daughter duo on the carpet? 'Cos they totally deserve it.
Her husband, Taiwanese businessman Alex Tien kept it classic in a sharp black suit, while their son AJ matched dad’s vibe in his own little tux. Family goals.
Quan Yi Fong

Quan Yi Fong (Second from left) turned heads at the red carpet with a total trompe l’oeil moment. She rocked a black-and-white suit look with a dramatic cape, but on closer look, it’s all one cleverly designed outfit — serving optical illusion vibes. The crisp white shirt, oversized tie, and tailored black pants are all part of the same piece, making you do a double-take. Leave it to the TV host to keep things playful and avant-garde — she’s basically the queen of “wait, is that really what I think it is?” fashion.
Rebecca Lim

Whoever had something to say about Rebecca Lim’s highlighter neon green Gucci dress last year can eat their words — because Becks (middle) is back and even more fabulous. This time, she’s playing it cool in a black sheer top: safe, chic, and totally working for her.
Andie Chen

Andie Chen showed up in a full dark teal suit, instantly standing out from the sea of black and neutral-hued tuxes. Props for the bold colour choice, but his wild, Wolverine-inspired hair is another story — someone please pass him a comb before he slices through the competition with those spikes. The suit’s a win for originality, but the hair? GTG.
Ya Hui

Ya Hui (second from left) took a risk on the red carpet with a denim mermaid dress. Definitely not your usual awards show gown, but she still managed to slay. The look is fresh and fun, and honestly, we kinda like it for breaking the usual red carpet rules. That said, she looked a bit uncomfortable, especially when she tried to walk up the stairs (mermaid dresses and mobility are clearly not BFFs). The black gloves are a bold choice, but maybe not the best match for denim. Still, points for daring to do something different!
Fann Wong

Sometimes, keeping it minimalist really works, especially when the silhouette and cut of the dress are flawless. Case in point: Fann Wong in a flowing white Ralph Lauren number. Paired with romantic waves and a touch of glitter, she looks absolutely radiant. We're just a little disappointed with Christopher's get-up — gone are the days when he took more risks, like this apron number in 1997 that would have totally nodded to his Dishing With Chris Lee S2 win for Best Entertainment Programme.
OOTD Misses: Fashion Risks That Didn’t Pay Off
Chen Hanwei
Picture: Screengrab via Mediacorp
Chen Hanwei is out here collecting brooches like he’s aiming for a promotion — straight-up military vibes with all that bling on his jacket. It’s giving “most decorated Star Awards actor” a whole new meaning, but maybe next time, less is more? This look is sadly a miss for us, unless the Star Awards is giving out medals for accessorising, then he’s already won.
Chen Lina

972 DJ Chen Lina (right) turned up in a grey outfit that looked straight out of a pirate adventure — like she’s about to drop beats and commandeer a ship at the same time. There was so much fabric swirling around on top, plus a black sash tied at her waist and slung over her shoulder, it was hard to tell where the outfit ended and the high seas began.
Sheryl Ang

Star Search 2019 alumni Sheryl Ang (far right) showed up looking like she just stepped out of Roblox. Oversized grey pinstripe suit, extra-wide shoulders, and those chunky cuffs. The proportions are so block-ish, that it’s giving major video game avatar energy. The floral tie that's wrapped like a scarf tries to add a pop of colour, but the whole look feels more “new unlockable character” than red carpet ready.
Chen Liping

Aiyoyo! Chen Liping, what is this outfit? It looks like she took a sofa chair cover, ripped it up, and turned it into a jacket. Or maybe grabbed an orange bag, cut some holes, and left the zip for fun. The whole look is giving serious “last-minute DIY project” energy. Sorry, this one’s a miss — next time, maybe leave the home decor at home.
