The 38-year-old may have left Mediacorp, but she's still slaying on her own. "A lot of people ask me if I'm not acting anymore. That's not the case. In fact, I continue to be super, super passionate about acting. I still feel that acting is my calling."

"Ever since I've entered the industry, I've been given the opportunity to play all sorts of roles — I've been a Vietnamese bride, a visually impaired character and even the vile Zhang An Na. But just when I thought things couldn't get more exciting, I still managed to be the host of today's Star Awards!"
5. Carrie Wong
