Remember when Meryl Streep won the Cecil B. DeMille award at the 74th Golden Globe Awards and made us all shed a tear? 

This year's winner, Oprah Winfrey, made us all cry once again with her outstanding speech after accepting her award. 

The award is presented by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association for outstanding contribution to the world of entertainment. 

In her speech, Oprah thanked victims of sexual assault for speaking out and expressed gratitude to the journalists who reported on such stories.

Will & Grace star Debra Messing came to tell it as it is on the red carpet at the 75th Golden Globes.

In his opening monologue, comedian and 75th Golden Globes host Seth Meyers dished out intelligent jokes that poked fun at the current situation in Hollywood. 

"There's a new era underway and I can tell because it's been years since a white man was this nervous in Hollywood," the host said, leaving everyone in the room laughing.
