Jay Chou has reportedly enrolled his eldest daughter in Ipswich Girls’ Grammar School (IGGS), an esteemed boarding school located in Brisbane, Australia. According to Chinese media reports, eight-year-old Hathaway is set to join the primary school at IGGS after this summer break

Interestingly, this decision aligns with the fact that Jay Chou’s wife Hannah Quinlivan has familial ties to Brisbane, as her father and extended family reside there. It appears that the couple has already completed the enrollment process, ensuring that their daughter’s educational path is set.

Here are some interesting facts about IGGS we’ve gathered.

The tuition fees go up to AUD35,844 (~$32,481) per year for secondary school levels, while boarding fees can cost up to AUD22,798 (~$20,659) per year. There are also other miscellaneous fees involved, which adds about another $2,500 to total costs. But hey, we doubt Jay Chou will bat an eyelid at this.
