The Boogeyman
Halloween is right around the corner and if you’re looking for a spine-chilling movie to watch over the weekend, consider it sorted with this film on Disney+.
Not to be confused with the 2005 horror film with the same title, The Boogeyman features Sadie Harper, a high school student, and her younger sister Sawyer who are grappling with the recent loss of their mother. Even so, the two are also receiving limited support from their father, Will, who is a therapist grappling with his own problems. However, one day, a distressed patient arrives at their home, seeking assistance, but inadvertently leaves behind a horrifying supernatural entity that comes after families and thrives on the sufferings it preys upon.

Goosebumps
Drawing inspiration from the globally renowned book series by R.L. Stine, “Goosebumps” narrates the gripping tale of five high school students who embark on a mysterious and convoluted quest to uncover the long-ago, tragic demise of a teenager named Harold Biddle, which happened three decades ago. However, in the midst of it all, they also stumble upon hidden, sinister truths from their parents’ history.
Goosebumps will premiere on Disney+ on 13 October
Lupin (Part 3)
After the second season ended with Lupin on the run, Part 3 of the crime drama picks up several months later. This time, the story revolves around Assane Diop, portrayed by Omar Sy, who is determined to make amends with his estranged wife Claire and their teenage son Raoul. While in hiding, Assane grapples with the pain his family endures due to his actions, pushing him to the breaking point. He decides to return to Paris and proposes an audacious idea to them: leaving France to start a fresh life elsewhere. However, the shadows of his past persistently haunt him, and an unexpected twist threatens to upend his plans.

Lee Doo-Na, played by Bae Suzy, once held the position of the main vocalist and the most adored member of an idol girl group. However, her sudden decision to retire left everyone surprised.
Now, she resides in a shared house near a university, leading a reclusive life. On the other hand, Lee Won-Joon, played by Yang Se-Jong, is a typical university student with a kind-hearted nature and an ordinary background. He eventually moves into the same shared house as Lee Doo-Na. Initially, Joon tries to avoid her at first but finds himself growing more and more curious about her mysterious life.

Strong Girl Nam-Soon
Kang Nam-Soon, who plays the lead role in the show, possesses extraordinary strength and went missing in Mongolia as a child. As an adult, she made the bold move to travel to Gangnam in Seoul, in search of her parents. Eventually, she reunites with her mother, Hwang Geum-Joo, who has spent her life trying to lead a virtuous and charitable existence following her daughter’s disappearance. Gil Joong-Gan, Kang Nam-Soon’s grandmother, also shares the superhuman strength. Unexpectedly, the three generations of strong women become embroiled in a drug-related case in Gangnam, and decide to work with Detective Kang Hee-Sik on the drug investigation.

Castaway Diva
Castaway Diva” is a romantic comedy series centered around Seo Mok-Ha (played by Park Eun-Bin), an aspiring singer who spent 15 years stranded on a deserted island. With dreams of becoming a K-pop idol, she manages to win a UCC competition and embarks on a journey to Seoul for an audition, determined to pursue her ambition of becoming a diva.
Castaway Dive will premiere on Netflix on 28 October
