The news we've all been waiting for: Netflix has officially announced that its K-drama zombie series All Of Us Are Dead is set to return to the screen with a second season.

The show was a major hit with over 361 million viewers in its first 10 days, and it also topped Netflix charts around the globe.

Starring Yoon Chan-young, Park Ji-hu, Cho Yi-hyun and Park Solomon, it follows a group of students left to fend for themselves and who struggle to survive amidst a zombie breakout that started in their high school. Caused by the Jonas virus manufactured by their science teacher, it also spreads to the surrounding city.

To recap, the final episode saw a bunch of survivors including Nam On-jo (Park Ji-hu) and Lee Su-hyeok (Park Solomon) sneaking out of a quarantine camp and back to Hyosan high school after they saw a small fire lit on the school's rooftop. They believed it to be their classmate Choi Nam-ra (who turned into a half-human, half-zombie aka a hambie).

It also left us with a number of unanswered questions — what will happen to Nam-ra (Choi Yi-hyun) and what will become of her burgeoning romance with Su-hyeok? She mentioned other hambies left in Hyosan High School, who arrived while the students were on the rooftop. Who are they, and what happens when they meet the human survivors?

And what's perhaps the most important question of all: Did Cheong-san (Yoon Chan-young) really die after sacrificing himself during the bombing by the military? Or did he turn into a hambie too?

Unfortunately, apart from the official confirmation of the new season, Netflix is keeping mum on what we can look forward to next.

Oh just save us the suspense, Netflix.
