Singer Wang Leehom Announces Split From His Wife Lee Jinglei

Taiwanese singer Wang Leehom, 45, has parted ways with his wife, Lee Jing Lei, 35.

This comes after months of speculation that the two have separated, with neither appearing on each others' social media feeds since 2019.

In a Facebook post, the singer shared, "Our life together has been simple, so we will not respond to any questions from the media. In these years of marriage, I have not done enough and I'm regretful for it. Our ideals and plans for our lives have changed, so we have decided to live apart. The application has been made, but we'll always be a family. We ask the public to give us privacy and space, and to not disturb our family. Thank you for your care and concern."

The 'application' is presumably for the official divorce.

They tied the knot in 2013, which came as a surprise as the pop star had always been private about his love life. They have three children, daughters Wang Jiali, seven and Wang Jiana, five, as well as a son, Wang Jiayao, three.
